Hat genius 7 is the latest incarnation of my poetry zine.  It features mostly autobiographical poems.  I'll paste here the last poem in the zine.

afterlife

Yes, this really is heaven.

Even the sorrow is beautiful.

Liquorice tea, tree frogs,

deep stone pools of water.

The pain of loss

is suffused with the goodness

of what we savored:

boyfriends, lemon bars,

endless afternoons.

I'm sorry I ever suggested

it was Hades.
